Designing atmospheres
Spatial design is something that fascinates me a lot. Creating spatial atmospheres in restaurants, exhibitions or theater scenes is always a co-operation between various experts. Below you can find some images of spaces that I have designed (exhibition spaces can be found also in the exhibitions sector):
During 2009-2010 I have been involved in many projects.
I made a big community art project in Luumäki with school children by using serigrafy on glass together with big stones (Finnish granite). I was also in charge of Manipulating space for Art of research conference in the University of Art and Design Helsinki. http://tm.uiah.fi/tutpor/AOR2009/ I was the exhibition designer for OTTO exhibition by Artists O/Finnish Designers Ornamo in Madrid in 2009 and Princess Dagmar-Maria Fjodorovna in South-Karelia Museum in 2010. In August 2010 there will be the premier for Kalevala production, where I have made the set up design, by Estradi Art School in Lappeenranta Fort theater.
