Teaching

Currently I teach in the University of Art and Design “Museum as artists medium” MA course (since 2005), which I have designed myself. We do co-operation with Helsinki City Museum in this course. I have also planned “Design Semiotics” course together with Prof. Susann Vihma and Research Director Toni Matti Karjalainen for the Semiotics Network in Finland.

Spring 2009 I was teaching a course on recycled art in Lappeenranta (co-operation of the Open University and the University of Art and Design). Autumn 2009 I am teaching in the Helsinki University of Art and Design in Design department and TAIK Open university (Space manipulation, Museum as artists Material and Cultural heritage course). In autumn 2009 I have also given work shops to school children in order to make a public art work in Luumäki. I am also a visiting lecturer in Kalmar Design Skola in Sweden and I also give work shops for children and young people in Lappeenranta area through METKU.
